Let us examine the evidence – while Poco’s comeback device, the X2, seemed reasonably different from anything in India (it was evidently a rebranded Redmi device that had been launched internationally), the M2 Pro and the M2 have been rather different. The Poco M2 Pro mirrored the Redmi Note 9 Pro and added a slightly different design (in terms of colors) to the mix, while the M2 seems to be the Redmi 9 Prime with more RAM and a faster charger and again in different colors, at a slightly higher price tag than the Prime....

OpenKirin is a new project that basically enables you to flash an AOSP (Android Open Source Project) based ROM onto your Huawei/Honor device. The project currently supports 17 smartphones and tablets running on EMUI 8. The ROMs that are currently supported are – Lineage OS (The successor to the very well-known CyanogenMod), Resurrection Remix OS, and Carbon OS. If you wish to know if your device is supported or not, you can check out the list in the images below, but in short, if your device runs on the Kirin 655, 658, 659, 960 or 970 SoC, then your device is supported....

This time though, Pushbullet is out with its own standalone app. It’s called Portal and all it will let you do, is transfer files from PC (both Windows and Mac) to your Android phone over Wi-Fi. Yes, Pushbullet also lets you send files but there’s a 25 MB limit and it’s not a direct transfer, you need to go through Pushbullet’s servers, that takes a lot of time. Starting tomorrow, i.e 16th November, Jio is kicking off a campaign across platforms including Facebook where users will be able to sign up for the home delivery of SIM cards. As per the TRAI directive, one person is entitled to hold a maximum of 9 SIM cards. Reliance Jio will let users schedule the time for the home delivery and will send the personnel to complete e-KYC based on Aadhaar....

Videos from Hulu/Netflix and other partners that have enrolled in T-Mobile’s Binge ON is “optimized” to 480p resolution....
