The new iPhones could also feature the true-tone display introduced on the iPad Pro earlier. More on the display, a series of reports claimed Apple is planning to switch to OLED panels. If a recent hearsay is believed to be true, Apple might also farewell the home button and opt for something else, rumors say the screen will function as a fingerprint reader. Although, the latter most certainly is not happening. On the wearable booth, the almost two-year-old Apple Watch is expected to receive a massive upgrade with a built-in GPS chip, better internals, new materials and a lighter overall aesthetic. The event will also trigger the public rollout of software updates Apple introduced at WWDC including iOS 10 and WatchOS 3.
